I had my doubts.....really how could wrapping some wires around a pipe solve my scale problem on my oil rubbed bronze faucets and stainless steel dishwasher????? Well...it does.....I have had installed for about a week and the white buildup in my dishwasher is 65 % gone, I have not had any build up on my faucets in the bathrooms, the granite under my kitchen faucet handle used to have a dull scaly look from water dripping there when you turned the water off with wet hands....you could not get it to come off without scrubbing and a cleaner, now I am able to use a wet rag and then wipe with a dry towel, it actually shines back up like the rest of the granite! The water for sure feels different when you shower, soap lathers huge......also a different taste and actual feel to drinking water...not sure how you would describe it but it is absolutely changing the water (not in any bad way).....I am hoping for even more benefits to come from using this system....I am currently using this and also I am maintaining my water softener...so using both systems for top performance on each system as it is recommended to do so.

This is frankly the ONLY electronic descaler that I found that got great reviews online at that depot where you buy stuff for your home. But it at Houzz for tax free delivery. This think worked very very well in our well water supplied home. A plumber tried to charge me 1700$ for an Easywater system which - thankfully- I declined on. Did it in no time. Just have an outlet somewhat close by to plug in. Did miracles for our shower and dishwasher and Glasware.

I have been debating this technology with myself for several decades. Finally after seeing a photo of the transformed scale crystals did I finally understand what is happening. The install was easy. It only took a few days before my shower head started shedding a decade of scale, so Im believing that the technology works. Not sure what to do with my existing water softener at this point. Reset the hardness rating or disconnect. We have very hard water, with iron, probably beyond the specs of the Calmat. looking forward to seeing if I can keep my drip irrigation system clear next summer.

For people with wells, and lots of calcium build up, this has worked beautifully. I didnt want to write a review until it had been used for awhile, but after 6 months I have no calcium around the faucets and shower heads. Yippee!!
