The plates arrived and they are as we pictured these dinner plates in our minds. The food tastes very good on these heavy plates. This was an excellent purchase. We highly recommend this product to be used an all dinner tables.

These plates were not as depicted in the pictures. In the pictures they appear to have significant edges to hold juices etc. but the plates I received were not only much flatter than the pictures but they have a bump in the middle that means that all juices, butter, whatever will drain to the edges. Ill never use Houzz again.

This listing is for a set of MADE TO ORDER dinner plates. Plates are made from a iron red earthenware clay and glazed in a creamy speckled white. However, you may also choose from five glaze option: Matte Gray, Mustard Yellow, Desert Green, Speckled White, and Teal. Plates measure approximately 10-11 inches. Made to order plates take roughly 4-6 weeks to complete. Keep in mind that I make each piece from start to finish, so please allow plenty of time for each piece to be made properly. Each KJ Pottery piece is hand thrown on the potters wheel. All pieces are food, oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, though I always recommend washing your KJ Pottery pieces by hand!
