I ordered this composter to replace one which was damaged beyond repair. This container looks very similar to the original (Earth Machine) but it does not have any way to secure it to the ground to prevent animals from tipping it over. The Earth Machine has a flange at the base which will includes 4 screws to anchor it to the ground. The other design flaw is the cover on the front. Its supposed to slide on and stay attached to the container also to keep animals from getting in but the pieces just do not stay locked together like the Earth Machine. You dont see these details until it shows up at your house and once you do Houzz deducts the cost of return shipping.
