They were exactly what I wanted. These are SO much nicer than other options on the market for double the price. The bonus details such as a removable internal shelf (so you dont need to fill the whole thing with dirt), styrofoam insulation, toe kick detail, and welded plates to raise it off the ground are things I did not find on the other planters. No assembly required. Keep in mind these come in their natural black color, but it has rained once and I already noticed some rust developing. Im going to try a solution to accelerate it.

Loved this planter so much that I bought another one. Just keep in mind that the rust will come off on concrete so make sure you dont set it on an area that you dont want to be stained

Impressed with the quality. As others have pointed out the planter does not come rusted so be prepared to have a work in progress. It is heavy so youll probably need help moving it around. I plan to order more to complete the look in my yard.

Havilland cortez steel planter is quality product. Quick free shipping ... product well packed and also very durable being steel. Tired of planters cracking in the winter and turning black with algae ... and like the rusted look. Ys, it takes a while to rust unless you spray on the common household product mix ... but I like to observe the rust process.
