The attractive spruce support beams are treated for outdoor use, but will require maintenance by oiling every six months or so to keep it strong and weather-resistant. The simple, intuitive design provides a visually elegant appearance while retaining strength. Assembly requires tool use, which is provided along with required hardware. This chair requires a minimum floorspace of 55�. The hanging poing is adjustable with the included chain up to 93� (about 8�). PLEASE NOTE that this chair is designed for residential leisure activities only. It should provide many years of excellent service in home applications when used for quiet relaxation. The chair it supports should NOT be used as a swing or subjected to continuous rotation. It should NOT be subjected to loads exceeding the 300 lb. weight limit.
