The product should be described as a "kit" since there is nothing prefabricated. The term "assembly required" is misleading since the truth is that it is delivered in pieces like a puzzle and is not sanded, stained, sealed or anything at all in the way of a more complete product. A "kit" type product is fine and this product produces a good looking and sturdy piece. You should just let folks that they have hours of assembly and finishing to do. Some might not want or be skilled enough to do that big a project. That said, it is perfect for my circular fire pit space and will look great!
